How to Install on MetaTrader 5
New to MT5? Follow these simple steps to get your tool running on your chart.
Step 1 — Download Your File
After purchase, Gumroad will email you a download link. Download the ex5 file to your computer and remember where you saved it.
Step 2 — Copy to MT5 Folder
Open MetaTrader 5. Click File in the top menu, then Open Data Folder. Go into MQL5, then Experts folder for EAs, or Indicators folder for indicators. Paste your ex5 file there.
Step 3 — Refresh Navigator
In MT5, go to the Navigator panel on the left side. Right click on Expert Advisors or Indicators and click Refresh. Your tool will appear in the list.
Step 4 — Attach to Chart
Open the chart you want to trade. Drag and drop the EA or indicator from the Navigator panel onto the chart. A settings window will appear — configure your inputs and click OK.
Step 5 — Enable Auto Trading
For Expert Advisors, make sure the Auto Trading button at the top of MT5 is green and enabled. If it is grey, click it to turn it on. The EA will now run automatically.
